Description: Through discussion, experiments and games, the Solar System, Food Chains, Habitats and Deserts will be explored. Children will be expected to read the book before class.

Description: Children will have opportunities to explore different genres, authors, and texts. They will participate in a variety of reading games to help make reading fun and motivate them to read more.

Description: Children will take a journey through soil and water and will earn a Golden Ray Series Certificate.

Class: Siphon It!
Description: Children will have hands-on opportunities to explore properties of water and air. Using an arrangement of tubing and bottles to explore how water flows through closed and open systems.

Class: Ahoy Pirates! Hoist the Sails!
Description: Children will take a close look at pirate life during the Golden Age of Piracy. They will sail the Spanish Main, learn parts of ye sip, sharpen ye pirate tongues, learn ye job on board ship, learn about privateers and buccaneers, meet some famous pirates, make ye own treasure map, dress like pirates and when all is done, feast as only pirates can! Argggg!

Class: Come Scrap with US!
Description: Children will be provided with all of the materials, tools and techniques for creating a photo cube, mini album, accordion book, and a paper bag scrapbook using their own pictures.
